Hitches with proper wiring, running boards, tonneau covers, leveling kits and light bars, installed at your place in Mississauga, Oakville, Milton, Brampton and Etobicoke. Torqued to spec, because tow hardware is not the place for guesswork.
One flat number before any work starts, and it does not move after. Prefer to talk? Call or text 647-450-0406. I read texts between jobs.
Takes 30 seconds. Paste the product link if you have it, that is what makes the number exact. The next screen shows real windows you can book yourself.
Truck accessories are the most underserved install market in the zone. The dealers charge dealer numbers, the hitch chains book two weeks out, and half the boxes end up in garages waiting for a free Saturday that never comes. Meanwhile every one of these is a clean driveway job: hitches, boards, tonneaus, bed gear, levels, lights.
The standard matters most here because this hardware carries loads. Hitch bolts get torqued to the manufacturer spec with a torque wrench, not an impact and a prayer. Trailer wiring gets fused, loomed and tested with a real tester before you ever back up to a trailer. And this page is not just for truck guys: the family SUV that needs a hitch for the bike rack is exactly the same job.
| Install | Flat labour | Time | The details |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trailer hitch | $180–$320 | 1.5 to 2.5h | Class 1 through 4 receivers. Every bolt torqued to the spec sheet. |
| Trailer wiring, 4-pin or 7-pin | $100–$180 | 1h | Plug-in harnesses where they exist, fused and tested either way. |
| Trailer brake controller | $120–$220 | 1 to 2h | For anything with actual weight behind it. |
| Running boards or side steps | $150–$280 | 1.5 to 2h | The most requested truck install there is. |
| Tonneau cover | $80–$160 | 1h | Clamped square, latches adjusted, no whistle at highway speed. |
| Bed rack or rails | $100–$200 | 1 to 2h | |
| Drop-in bed liner | $60–$100 | 0.5h | Spray-in liners are a booth job, not mine. |
| Skid plates | $100–$200 | 1 to 1.5h | |
| Rock sliders (bolt-on) | Quote per car | 2 to 3h | Heavy, and some designs want two sets of hands. Quoted honestly. |
| Winch and winch bumper | Quote per car | 4 to 6h | Heavy electrical plus heavy steel, quoted per truck. |
Every price is flat install labour, you supply the part, and the number for your exact car is agreed before any work starts. "Quote per car" means the platform honestly decides the price, send the link and the car and you get the number the same day. Planning more than one? Stack your list in the estimator and see the running total. Prices also live in the open dataset mods-install-rates.json.
The honest answer is: what do you tow, and what does your vehicle allow? A bike rack needs far less than a boat. Class 1 and 2 cover racks and small utility trailers, Class 3 is the SUV and half-ton standard, Class 4 is heavy work. Send me your vehicle and what you are pulling and I will tell you the right receiver before you order the wrong one.
They are priced separately because half of hitch buyers only ever carry a bike rack and never need wiring at all. If you tow anything with lights, you need the harness, and I install and test it with a proper tester the same visit. Booked together, the two jobs share the setup time, which is the efficient way to do it.
A modest level on a quality kit changes ride feel slightly and needs an alignment after, which I tell you upfront rather than after. On warranty: in Canada a modification only affects claims on components it actually impacts. A two-inch level does not void a truck, whatever the service advisor sighs about, but suspension components near it get scrutinized, so buy decent hardware. I will tell you if the kit in your cart is decent.
