Real work · Suspension & front end

A full front-suspension day —
in the customer’s driveway.

Late May 2026. A driver in the west GTA had the classic story: clunking over bumps, a wander in the steering, and a shop quote that made him want a second opinion before anyone touched the car.

How it went

  1. 1The message. He described the clunk and where it happened through the site — no phone tag, no “bring it in and we’ll see.”
  2. 2The honest read. Worn front-end components — common on GTA roads, and exactly the kind of job shops love to quote high because most people can’t see the parts. He got a flat number before a single bolt moved.
  3. 3The work. Parts arrived with me. The car never left his driveway. He could watch any part of it — that’s the point of doing it there.
  4. 4The handover. Old parts in his hands, so he could see the wear with his own eyes. Test drive. Done — same day.
Why this job matters: suspension is high-stakes trust. You can’t easily verify the parts or the labour — which is why I flat-quote it first, do it where you can watch, and hand the old parts back after. The process IS the proof.

Sound familiar?

Clunks over speed bumps, a shimmy at highway speed, steering that feels a half-second behind you — the front end announces itself early. The symptom guides cover what each noise usually means, and the cost guides show honest GTA ranges so you know what fair looks like before anyone quotes you.

Holding a suspension quote right now?

Send it over — I’ll tell you straight if it’s fair, and what I’d flat-quote to do it at your driveway.
